Tripus Aureus

Tripus Aureus oder Der goldene Tripod ist ein alchemisches Werk von Michael Maier, welches 1618 von Lucas Jennis publiziert wurde.

Das Buch enthält die drei Texte

1. Die zwölf Schlüssel von Basilius Valentinus (1599)
2. Thomas Norton's Ordinal of Alchemy (1477)
3. Das Testament von Cremer.

Der erste Teil enthält eine Abfolge von allegorisch verschlüsselten alchemischen Operationen, deren Abbildungen Worte beigefügt wurden. Maier's Lateinische Ausgabe im Tripus aureus enthält Holzschnitte für alle zwöf Schlüssel.
