Das Pathamasambodhi ist eine südostasiatische Anthologie mit Geschichten über das Leben Buddhas. Heute sind über 100 Manuskripte mit über 10 Versionen in mehreren asiatischen Sprachen mit bis zu 30 Kapiteln bekannt.
Hier tritt die Erde als Schutzgöttin auf und verteidigt den Buddha gegen Mara.
